Aaron stood in the water, thinking at it fiercely.It was polluted, a normal town river, nothing like the one Nadia had purged in China.But it was still a blight on the small town, if he could just save it... He focused, out from him spread clear greenish water, pure enough to drink from.He left the river, his sister had a set of dry clothes for him."Thanks Shannon." He said, smiling as he put on the dry clothes after drying himself off. The two sighed at once, and laughed when they realized they had done it." I can't believe I actually was crushing on that girl, I mean she's like half my age, my cousin, the kind of person I hate, what was I thinking?" Shannon started laughing too." And you really needed that stick removed from your butt when you got home, I mean quoting Nietzsche at the poor girl, you needed it bad boy, you really did." "You know I didn't really love her, right?" "Yes Aaron, I've felt that before, it's just a symptom of it breaking down, I've done it myself, on the same people remember?" The two started laughing at this, pure and good laughter rang out, attracting something else. Two young girls plodded along, having heard the noise and curious as to the cause. They peaked out and Shannon saw them."Don't be frightened!" She called out to them, they poked their heads out. "Here, do you want a present?" Asked Aaron, kneeling down to the ground and picking up a rock, turning it into a piece of gold. One darted out and grabbed it, as their hands touched he cured a lifetime of medical problems in an instant, breast cancer, heart disease, diabities, all were no longer at risk of plaguing her. She darted back and the two both came forward, Aaron gave a second key to the other girl, doing the same bit of magic to her. "Well makes sense they would have followed us." Says Shannon, gesturing back to the broken building. "I wonder if it's hope or fear." Said Aaron, looking down at the healed wounds. "Children Aaron!" Shannon suddenly burst out "They had children in conditions that shouldn't exist outside of the Pit, and even there shouldn't, who could do something like that?" "We both know that Shannon." He whispered, looking back at it."Evil." They said together. "So how about you hunt the kids down and I heal them?" Asked Aaron."You know me so well, just what I wanted." Said Shannon, "What would I do without you?" "Crash and burn Shannon, crash and burn. "The two hugged and Shannon was off to capture the children for healing, Aaron sat there grinning a foolish grin. "This is why we're here." He said to no one who could hear him.
